We make all types of windows: single-hung, double-hung, picture, bow, awning, hopper, round, half-round, casement, and French. You can choose from a wide variety of bronze, brass, or stainless steel hardware available from several American and European suppliers. Other desired hardware styles and finishes are also available upon request. We can make screens to fit any door or window. We typically use either bronze or fiberglass mesh.
We constantly refine our designs, adding subtle changes to improve the beauty, functionality and durability of our products. Many of these changes are based on lessons we learn from dismantling old windows and doors that we encounter in our travels. By incorporating some of the features that allowed these beautiful old windows to endure for 100 years or more, we’ve been able to infuse our modern designs with old-fashioned common sense.

Eyebrow windows by J.S. Benson Woodworking & Design are meticulously crafted using the highest caliber materials available. Each eyebrow arch window we produce is hand-fitted with a foot peddle-operated sash trimmer made by the Heald Machine Company of Worcester, Massachusetts in 1890. Though it's well over a century old, the technique delivers faster and more precise results than current mass-production technologies. Our team of seasoned craftspeople can custom build your eyebrow window to match your unique tastes and specifications, no matter which architectural style or historical period you want it to replicate.

True divided light windows are perfect for anyone looking to save money in the long-run. At J.S. Benson Woodworking &  Design, we've found that TDL windows provide much greater benefits than simulated divided light (SDL) windows. SDL windows may be less expensive at first, but they can get costly over time. With true divided light windows, you can easily replace broken panes using spares we provide as part of every job. Our TDL windows have also earned praise from our clients for their insulation abilities.
